Srinagar, Feb 19: A girl died while another person was injured in two separate road accidents in Kulgam and Srinagar today.
A Police spokesman said in Kulgam, a tractor hit and injured a pedestrian, Iqra Jan, a resident of Kilam at Kilam in the jurisdiction of Police Station Devsar.
“The injured was shifted to Public Health Center Kilam where she succumbed to her injuries. After completion of medico legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to her next of kins for last rites. Kulgam police has registered a case in this regard,” he said.
He said in Srinagar, a Sumo and an Auto Load Carrier collided at Lower T-Crossing in the jurisdiction of Police Station Nishat, resulting in injuries to Auto driver, Tariq Ahmad Saloo, a resident of Nowhatta Srinagar.
“The injured was shifted to SMHS Hospital for treatment. Srinagar police has registered a case in this regard,” he said.
