RAJOURI, June 27: A 7-year-old girl who was seriously injured in leopard attack in Gambir Muglan area of Majakote in district Rajouri last evening, succumbed to injuries in GMC hospital here today.
A police spokesman said that this girl, Irfat Begum, daughter of Javed Ahmed, was seriously injured when she along with her brother, Irfan (12), was grazing cattle in the nearby forest area at Gambir Muglan last evening. Irfan was killed on the spot by the wild beast while girl was left seriously injured. She was referred to GMC Jammu by the doctors last night and she succumbed to injuries today.
The body of the deceased was brought back to Rajouri by family today.
