POONCH, May 14: A girl was killed today after she was hit by a speeding car at Kanuyian.
“A speeding car bearing registration number JK12-5253 today hit a pedestrian namely Gulnaz daughter of Abdul Aziz, resident of Hari Budha, and left her seriously injured”, a police official said.
He said that the injured girl was immediately rushed to the District Hospital but in view of her serious condition she was referred to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu. However, the girl succumbed to her injuries on the way to Jammu after which her body was shifted to mortuary of the District Hospital.
“In this connection, a case has been registered at concerned police station and investigations started”, he further added.
