JAMMU, May 14: Sawtantar Singh was elected as president of Lions Club International R S Pura while Deep Kumar Sharma was elected as general secretary of the Club.
The elections were held at a general body meeting which was held under the chairmanship of Jagjit Singh Azrot at RS Pura.
Others elected were Sahil Gupta as cashier, Anil Kapoor as joint secretary and Rajinder Singh as PRO of the Club.
The newly elected president, Sawtantar Singh assured all the members that he will adopt the policy of hard working with co-operations of all members.
Dr Padam Dev Raina, Kewal Krishan Khajuria, GI Sharma, Natha Ram, Kuldeep Gupta, Rajinder Singh, Surinder Singh, Deepak Gupta, Madan Lal Khanna, Dr Ashok Gupta, Vikram Shrama, Rampal Sharma, Janak Raj Gupta, Ram Labhaya Gupta, Naresh Gupta, Balwinder Kumar, Sahil Gupta, Sanjay Aggarwal, Dr Des Raj Dogra and Dinesh Gupta were also present.
