MENDHAR, June 23: A minor girl was died after she consumed some poisonous substance at her residence at village Ari in Mendhar Sub Division of district Poonch last night.
A police spokesman said that 16-year-old Nazia Kouser, daughter of Abdul Khaliq , resident of Ari Jabba village became serious after she consumed some poisonous stuff at her residence last night. She was removed to SDH Mendhar by the family members and then referred to GMC Hospital Jammu but she died on the way.
Her body was brought back to Mendhar hospital and later handed over to the family after postmortem. The police has registered a case under section 174 CrPC.
