Srinagar, July 3: Police today said a girl attempted to commit suicide in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
A police spokesman said in a bid to end her life, a girl (name withheld) resident of Dialgam village of Anantnag consumed some poisonous substance at her home.
“She was shifted to District Hospital Anantnag for treatment wherefrom she was referred to SMHS Hospital, Srinagar for further treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” said the spokesman.
