RAMBAN, Apr 13: Two persons including a girl were injured when the truck they were traveling in skidded off the road and plunged into gorge near Captain Morh Champa, here today.
The ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number JK18A-2099 was on it way from Batote toward Nashri, when the driver lost control over the vehicle and it landed into gorge near Captain Morh Champa, resulting into injuries to two persons including a girl.
On getting information, police team rushed to the spot and started rescue operation.
The injured persons were shifted to Batote hospital, where they were responding to the treatment, when last reports came in.
The injured were identified as Khalil Ahmed Dar, son of Abdul Ahad Dar of Devsar District Kulgam and Sonia Jaan, daughter of Rias Ahmed of District Kulgam.
A case under FIR Number 25/2020 under sections 279 and 337 IPC has been registered at Police Station Batote and investigation started.
