Srinagar, July 4: Terming the revelation of the former RAW chief, A S Dulat, about the separatist leadership in his new book as “bundle of lies”, hardline Hurriyat Conference chairman, Syed Ali Shah Geelani, today said the book is based on “absolute lies and his mental artifice and by doing this he has actually once again tried to utilize his professional skills to create confusion, untrustworthiness and chaos”.
A Huriyat Conference spokesman in a statement said Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is not the creation of Geelani but claimed that “it was setup by the Indian secret agencies and the amalgam has got this information from the reliable sources that the decision regarding the creation of this party was taken at the residence of a top IB officer”.
“Personality of Dulat is well known to everybody in Kashmir that he is a person having collusive mindset and to defame the Kashmir freedom movement and spread confusion and lies about it has been his prime goal for which he had earned a good repute in the corridors of New Delhi and for which he is enjoying perks and luxuries,” the spokesman said.
Huriyat Conference said that during his service as RAW chief, Dulat “tried his best to meet Geelani but his desires could not get matured and he left defeated”. “And now to vent his anger, he has fabricated Geelani that he helped in making PDP. However, by airing such lies Dulat has actually made his own position contradictory and odd because he has many times in the past claimed about Geelani that he neither likes hypocrisy nor can he be ready to make any type of compromise with India,” the Hurriyat spokesman said.
