UDHAMPUR, Dec 24: Scholarship Cheque Distribution Function was organized at Government College for Women, Udhampur, here today.
BR Kundal, MLC and former Chief Secretary and Ex-Cabinet Minister for Revenue was the chief guest on the occasion, while Dr Youdhvir Singh, Principal Government College for Women, Udhampur was the guest of honour.
BR Kundal distributed scholarship cheques among Scheduled Caste and Other Backward Class students of the College.
In his speech, Kundal announced Rs 5 lakh donation for shed preparation out of Constituency Development Fund (CDF).
The Principal of the College in his address motivated the students and expressed the importance of scholarships.
Dr Rachpal Singh, Convener Scholarship Committee presented vote of thanks.
