JAMMU, Nov 16: To discuss preparations for the crucial NAAC inspection, a meeting of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Government, College for Women,
Parade Ground, Jammu, was held today.
Besides Principal of the College, Dr Hemla Aggrawal, the meeting was attended by the Director Colleges, Department of Higher Education, Prof Z A Chat, S P Verma, Annil Suri (Industrialist), Prof Shashi Kaul (former faculty member of the College), parents of some students, aluminae, students, Internal members of IQAC of the College and a few faculty members.
During discussion a number of suggestions were made by the external members, which
were duly noted down. Director Colleges informed that GCW Parade Ground shall be the first institute from the State to undergo the NAAC inspection for the third cycle. He also pointed out that the submission of SSR to the NAAC is a major accomplishment.
Dr Neeraj Kumar, Coordinator, IQAC made a detailed PowerPoint presentation. He began by enumerating the agenda items that included the work and achievements already accomplished by the institution and further planning and measures that the College is reaching towards.
