JAMMU, Apr 8: Following all the SOPs, Govt College of Education, Jammu concluded a three days long Orientation Programme for the new upcoming students today.
The programme was organized to apprise the freshers about the basic knowledge and understanding of the functioning of the college and its different activities.
Dr. Kulwinder Kour, Principal GCOE acquainted the students with different activities that are being planned for the upcoming session.
The program included detailed deliberations on the curriculum aspects of the two-year B.Ed. programme by Prof. K.K. Mangotra, Prof. Rubina Yasmeen and Prof. Shapia Shameem. It also included deliberations on practicum by Prof. C.L. Shivgotra, Prof. Neeraj Verma and Prof. Sarita Dogra; on examination by Dr. Jyoti Parihar, Prof. Seema Kumari and Prof. Anuradha; on overall discipline and faculties available by Dr Sushma Bala, Prof. Shalini Rana and Prof. Vinay Lata; on co-curricular activities like NSS held in college by Dr Shubhra Jamwal and an overview about the college library by Dr. Anuradha Seth.
