GCET students demand early conduct of online exams

Srinagar, Sept 10: Several students of Government College of Engineering and Technology, (GCET) Safapora Sumbal today demanded early conduct of online mode of examination
Scores of B. Tech. students of the third semester reached Press Colony and protested against college authorities.
The students said that the college authorities are playing with their career.
“In two years we have just accomplished two semesters and exam of the third semester is yet to be conducted due to pandemic situation, they are simply playing with our career,” the students said.
They said that they asked the concerned at the Cluster University to conduct online exams as has been done by other colleges. “They are delaying and dragging degrees,” they said.
The students said that the authorities are not coming clean on the conduct of online exams as they have already lost a lot.
They said they had boycotted online classes for the fourth semester as the exam of 3rd semester is yet to be conducted, despite repeated requests.
The students demanded early online conduct of exam for 3rd semester.
