JAMMU, Sept 10: Gujjar Bakerwal Students’ Welfare Association today went on fast unto death in support of its demand for opening of Gojri Research Center in Jammu University.
Talib Hussain, the State president of GBSWA and Tazeem Choudhary, provincial president Jammu, sat on fast in front of the Administration Block in JU.
Talking to media persons, on the occasion, Talib Hussain alleged that JU authorities were adopting criminal silence over the issue notwithstanding approval of the University Council.
Others, present on the occasion, included Mohd Akram, Attaullah Niazi, Vishal Arora, Liaqat Ali, Imran Akram, Zulfqar Ali, Mohd Azam, Zaffer Iqbal and Imtiaz Chooba.
