Ganga holds interaction with intellectuals, veterans

JAMMU, June 21: Seeking support and suggestions of retired veterans of Vijaypur constituency towards nation building, MLA Chander Parkash Ganga today said that the former officers and intellectuals can contribute tremendously towards societal transformation with the dint of their expertise and broader perspective of the world.
The MLA, while interacting with the invited intellectuals of Vijaypur constituency, said that the vast  experience of these State veterans in their respective fields can have a good influence in the future planning and thus the development of the state which will ultimately help build a strong nation. He said that, if the expertise and knowledge of the serving and those who have served is utilized in the growth and development plans it can do wonders in steering the nation towards a prosperous world.
MLA had detailed deliberation with the participants regarding several issues envisaging the welfare and development of the constituency in particular and the State in general. He sought their valuable suggestions in making the development plans more effective and result oriented.
The intellectuals put forth several innovative suggestions and measures aiming at further enhancement in the basic services and other facilities besides deliberating on ways to ensure a planned development for creating a better world to live in.
Ganga, while necessitating the significance of such meets in society’s effective development, said that the PM himself convenes interactive meets with all the segments of the society and use this feedback in his Maan Ki Baat programme.

Senior KAS officers, Retd.Educationist, Retd. Senior Army official, Retd. Doctors and others.
