JAMMU, Feb 19: A meeting of the Federation of Trade and Industry of India (FTII) was held today and was presided over by Federation national president, Dr. Sanjay Bansal.
The meeting discussed and decided several critical matters that will contribute to the betterment of trade and industry in India.
Speaking in the meeting, Sandeep Mengi, president of J&K chapter of FTII, presented his views on key challenges and opportunities faced by the nation’s trade landscape.
He highlighted the urgent need for regulatory reforms, the alleviation of infrastructural bottlenecks and the strengthening of public-private partnerships as vital areas for immediate action.
Federation general secretary, Sanjeev Aggarwal conducted the proceedings in the session.
Notable attendees in the meeting were Prashant Singh, Ashwini Goswamy, Mohit Gupta, Sudhir Mittal, Manas Sabharbal and Preeti Kashyap.
Key topics on the agenda included strategies for promoting economic growth, fostering job creation and encouraging entrepreneurship across India.
The participants emphasised on innovative approaches that could streamline administrative processes and promote sustainable industrial practices.
Dr. Sanjay Bansal expressed optimism about the outcomes of the meeting, stating, “Today’s session has enabled us to address pressing issues and set a clear roadmap for future initiatives.”
He further stressed that the discussions were closely aligned with FTII’s long-term mission to serve as the unified voice of India’s trade and industry and to advocate for policies that create a conducive business environment.
