UDHAMPUR, June 3: Ranbir Singh Pathania, Spokesperson J&K BJP and former MLA, today said that recent civilian killings in Kashmir are an antidote to unprecedented development and terror control measures.
“Average life of a terrorist has considerably reduced. There is considerable decrease in number of foreign mercenaries and local terrorists. Operations are being performed with greater precision and least collateral damage. Now that perpetrators of terror sitting across the border have resorted to a new warfare. We all stand committed towards eradication of terrorism from Indian soil. Without any differences, let us stand united against terrorism,’ he said, in response to queries by media persons during a press conference, here today for highlighting achievements of eight years of Modi Sarkar.
“Around 1.20 crores were benefitted on account of Pradhan Mantri Awaas Shehri Yojana. 2.3 crores have access to Pucca Houses on account of PMAY (Grameen). 11.22 crore toilets were built across the country. 6.2 crore habitations were given access to piped water. Similarly, 21.6 lakh Rehri vendors were benefitted on account of Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana. Ayushman Bharat Yojana, till date, has a beneficiary base going upto 3.2 crores. 190 crore free of cost Covid doses were administered to the vulnerable people in India. 8727 Jan Aushadhi Kendras were set up across the country with a view to making available cheap and best medicines. 15 new AIIMS were opened and 200 new medical colleges were sanctioned. Health and wellness centers in various far flung areas have scripted a new gamut of developmental history,’ he said while listing the achievements.
With regard to J&K, Mr Pathania said that anti democratic Articles 370 and 35-A, were deactivated while democracy was strengthened at the grassroots level by constituting and strengthening all three tiers of local self Government.
Earlier, Puran Chand, BJP District President, gave a detailed note on the various achievements of Modi Sarkar and said that 80 crore people stand benefitted out of free ration distributed under PMGKY.
Dinkar Gupta, District BJP Spokesperson, Pritam Chand, office secretary and Atul Sharma, District Social Media Incharge were also present on the occasion.
