Addressing a party rally here, today along with BJP JK UT president, Ravinder Raina, party vice presidents, Shakti Raj Parihar, Pawan Khajuria, senior leader and former MLA Devender Singh Rana and Ex MLA, Neelam Langeh, he said, J&K would become a new development model in the country and the militants would be decisively defeated and their nefarious designs will be thwarted.
He said the era of family rule is over in J&K now. The erstwhile State has been ransacked by two families in the past many years. But a new chapter has started which would bring smile on the face of people of J&K and no one can be allowed to loot the resources of the UT as was done by some ruling dynasties during past over six decades.
He also strongly condemned the killing of J&K police personnel in Saura, in Ganderbal district and said that it was again a heinous act of terrorists who are feeling frustrated and threatened due to tight security arrangements in the UT.
BJP leaders also paid floral tributes on the portraits of Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru on the occasion.
Talking to reporters at the sidelines of party function later Chug said PM Narendra Modi has scripted a new chapter of development and progress in J&K and despite the COVID Pandemic the UT continued to progress on the path of development.
He said the BJP leaders’ tour to length and breadth of J&K will strengthen party further with Narendra Modi’s resolve of Sabka Saath and Sabka Vikas.
Chug, while exuding confidence that BJP will form the Government in J&K said with the double engine the party will take the UT on the path of progress and development further.
He also took a dig at those leaders who are criticising the Kashmir Files Movie and said those who left Valley at that time when Kashmiri Pandits were facing atrocities and cruelties through the hands of terrorists and separatists have now been exposed. These leaders are in desperation so they are raising the fingers on film.
Ravinder Raina, in his address, said that the NC Congress and PDP have lost support in J&K, as they lacked the vision for the development of Jammu & Kashmir. Impressed by the development spree in J&K by the Modi Government, the public will vote BJP to power. The BJP will form the next Government in J&K, Raina added.
Raina attacked the parties like NC, Congress, PDP for doing the negative politics and for looting the resources of this region. He said that BJP will undo all the wrong doings by these parties and the J&K will march on the path of peace and progress under Modi Government.
In his address Devender Rana said that his main reason of joining the BJP was that some decisions taken by the leaders of the party which he quit were not in the interest of Jammu and nation as a whole.
He said BJP is the main stream party and he found it best to join it to serve the national cause in J&K and strengthen nationalist forces further.
The rally was also addressed by Shakti Parihar, Pawan Khajuria and Neelam Langeh ex MLA Ramban.
