JAMMU, July 24: In a function here today Fruit Mandi Traders (FMT) in collaboration with the Income Tax (IT) Department celebrated 158th Income Tax Day.
The IT Department was represented by B.K Raina, Income Tax Officer, Rupesh Kumar and Vikram Kumar, Inspector while from the Traders Association Rajesh Gupta, FMT President and other senior members of the Association were present.
Speaking on the occasion all the FMT stressed upon the importance of keeping surroundings clean to prevent various diseases.
The members also pledged to spread the message of Swatch Bharat.
Speaking on the occasion B.K Raina stressed upon the need of filling Income Tax returns and paying taxes for the development of the country.
Rajesh Gupta highlighted the problems being faced by the traders while filling returns and getting refunds.
