SHIMLA: Higher reaches of Himachal Pradesh experienced fresh snowfall keeping inclement weather conditions unchanged on Thursday.
As per reports arriving here, Keylong in Lahaul Spiti recorded 16 cm snowfall, while Kalpa in Kinnaur received two cm.
Snowfall was continuing in Jubbal, Kharapather, Chopal besides higher reaches of Kangra, Shimla, Kinnaur, Lahaul an Spiti.
Kangra town and Nahan recorded one mm rainfall while rest of the state was mainly dry but cloudy.
Minimum temperature of Keylong was minus 6.8 degrees, Kalpa in Kinnaur minus 1.8 degrees, Kufri three degrees, Manali 3.2 degrees and Dalhousie 4.9 degrees.
Minimum temperature of Dharmshala– 6.4 degrees, Shimla– 7.2 degrees, Solan– 7.6 degrees, Mandi– eight degrees, Nahan– 8.4 degrees, Chamba–8. 5 degrees, Bhuntar– 9.1 degrees, Sundernagar– 9.5 degrees, Una– 10.3 degrees, Hamirpur– 10.6 degrees and Bilaspur– 10.8 degrees respectively.
The Met office forecast rain or snowfall at many places and warning of heavy rain and snow at isolate places in next 24 hours.
