JAMMU, Oct 21: A three-day free eye operation camp is being organized by Viklang Chhatra Trust Old Care Society in collaboration with the Health Department, Jammu at Sub District Hospital Akhnoor from October 24 to 26.
Registration of the patients for cataract operations shall be conducted up to October 24. The registered patients shall be operated by a team of eminent eye surgeons of Health Department on October 25 and 26 for implantation of Intra Ocular Lens.
During camp days, free lodging and boarding for patients and their escorts will be provided by the organizers of the camp. Pre and post operative medicines and spectacles will also be given free of cost to all the operated patients.
The registered eye patients are directed to report on October 24 at 10 AM at SD Hospital Akhnoor.
