UDHAMPUR, Oct 31: Rotary Club in collaboration with Rotary Eye & ENT Hospital, Udhampur organized free eye check-up and surgery camps at Battal, Gujroo Nagrota, Karlah, Moungri, Panchari, Chatroo, Lalli Dabbar, Bani, Tikri, Gadhar, Sudhmahadev.
The patients of Lalli Dabbar camp reached at Rotary Eye Hospital Udhampur on October 29 for surgical procedures and operations were conducted free of cost including boarding and lodging on October 30 by Dr M K Yadav and team of Para Medical staff. All the patients have been discharged today after completion of successful surgery and thus a commitment to serve the poor and downtrodden strata of society has been accomplished.
These camps were undertaken by the Rotary International under MG No. 76127 for prevention of blindness supported by Rotary Club of Jackson Township (Belden Village), R I District 6650. The Project was started in the year 2012 and till date 7770 patients were examined and out of which 727 patients were operated for implantation of Intra Ocular free of cost at Rotary Eye & ENT Hospital Udhampur.
