SAMBA, Dec 24: Lions Club Samba organized free eye check-up camp at Government Middle School, Arazi, here.
Around 115 students were examined during the camp by eye-specialist Dr Suruchi from District Hospital Samba and 22 students were selected for detailed check-up.
Stationery items, warn clothes and refreshment were provided to the students.
The School staff and prominent persons including CEO Samba, ZEO Samba and the members of the Lions Club Samba were present on the occasion.
While addressing the gathering, President, Lions Club Samba Amardeep Singh appealed to the CEO Samba to cover the drain passing through the school on which CEO assured to cover the drain.
Secretary of the Lions Club Samba Surinder Mishra highlighted the working of the Club and also highlighted the importance of the eyes in making good future of the students.
Among others present were Capt Inder Singh, Sita Ram Sapolia, Rajnish Pargal, Pawan Kumar, Rakesh Singh, Ashok Raizada, Vikas Gupta and Naresh Chandel.
In the end, Amardeep Singh presented vote of thanks.
