JAMMU, June 9: A free Ayurveda health check-up camp was organised by Nat Manch under the leadership of its president Tarun Sharma at Maa Vaishno Devi Mandir, Lane Number 4, Shakti Nagar, Jammu, today to promote awareness about preventive healthcare and healthy living through Ayurveda.
The camp was inaugurated by Mahatma Tilak, who appreciated the initiative and highlighted the importance of Ayurveda and a healthy lifestyle in maintaining overall well-being.
A team of healthcare professionals, including Dr Bharti Koshal, Dr Shefali Sharma, yoga therapist Neelam and yoga therapist Manju, conducted health examinations and provided free consultations, lifestyle advice and guidance on Ayurvedic treatment and yoga practices.
A large number of local residents attended the camp and availed themselves of the free health check-up services. Participants appreciated the initiative and the medical guidance provided by the experts.
Speaking on the occasion, Tarun Sharma said Ayurveda and yoga play an important role in maintaining physical and mental health and stressed the need for greater awareness about natural and holistic healthcare practices.
Several social activists, volunteers and local residents were present during the programme.
The organisers thanked the healthcare professionals, volunteers and members of the public for their support and reiterated their commitment to holding similar community welfare and health awareness programmes in the future.
