Four injured in road accidents

JAMMU, Mar 10: Four persons were injured today in separate road mishaps in city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, a Head Constable of police namely Mumtaz, a resident of Poonch and at present residing in Janipur, sustained injuries when a Maruti car on which he was going on, rammed into the divider of the road at Nagrota.
A pedestrian identified as Binny (38) son of Punjab Singh, resident of Narwal, was hit and injured by a tanker at Satwari. Two teenagers were injured at Dangar in Khour area of Akhnoor, when the bike on which they were travelling, got slipped. The injured were identified as Vinay Sharma (14) son of Bhola Ram, resident of Jogwan and Apporav Sharma (14) son of Pawan Kumar, resident of Kalith.
All the injured were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment. In all cases, the concerned police had taken cognizance.
