Four commuters die, one injured in road mishaps

Srinagar, Aug 11: At least four persons died while one person was injured in different road traffic accidents across the Valley.
A police spokesman said a load-carrier JK03D/1832 hit a motorcyclist Ghulam Hyder Tantray of Awara Kanelwon at Darkhan Darigund, he died on the spot.
A Tata van JK04B/6602 hit Ghulam Qadir Bhat of Baginder Humhama at Baginder, he died on the spot.
A Sumo JK03/6522 hit Bashir Ahmad Dar son of Nizam-ud-Din of Ringmando Kapran, at Halsidar, he died on the spot.
A Tipper JK01H/4758 hit and injured Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Peer of Syedpora Karnah near Kidney Hospital Sonwar, Srinagar. The injured was shifted to SMHS Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
A load carrier JK01V-1948 hit an LP Tata 407 JK05/9261 near Lalad Sopore. The driver of the load carrier was injured. The injured was shifted to sub District hospital, Sopore.
The spokesman said cases have been registered cases in these accidents.
