JAMMU, Aug 1: Fortis Hospital Ludhiana in association with Aggarwal Super Specialist Clinics (ASSC) launched its OPD here at Health Line Clinic, near Super Speciality Hospital, Jammu, Sandhu Hospital, near Bus Stand, Pathankot and Padotra Clinic, near Shaheedi Chowk, Kathua.
This was disclosed by Vivan Singh Gill, Facility Director, Fortis Hospital, Ludhiana, during a press conference here today. Giving more information regarding the Sunday OPDs, Gill said, “Keeping public interest in mind and demand of the State in general, the management of Fortis Hospital Ludhiana has endeavoured to extend global healthcare services to the residents of Jammu and neighbouring areas, hence eliminating the need for patients to travel to the metro cities for availing basic consultation.
Gill informed that this month Fortis Hospital Ludhiana is starting an OPD by renowned specialist Dr Paramdeep Singh Sandhu, Consultant, Interventional Cardiology, who will render his services in Jammu on 3rd Sunday of every month from 11am to 2pm, at Health Line Clinic, Jammu and Dr Sandeep Chopra, Consultant, Interventional Cardiology will render his services in Pathankot and Kathua (Padotra Clinic from 1pm to 3pm) on 4th Sunday of every month.
Dr Ankush Mehta, Medical Superintendent, Fortis Hospital, Ludhiana said, “At Fortis Hospital Ludhiana, our goal is to make advanced specialized healthcare services accessible to all. With this vision in mind, we have launched OPD services for the residents of Jammu, Pathankot and Kathua. We are hopeful that along with them, the adjoining cities will also get benefits from these OPDs.
Dr Naresh Aggarwal, Director, Aggarwal Super Specialist Clinics (ASSC) and visiting Physician at Fortis Hospital Ludhiana will be present on every Wednesday at all three OPD Centres, giving free follow-up to patients at Fortis Ludhiana OPDs and special concessions will be given to the patients and those who get consultation at Fortis Hospital Ludhiana OPDs Centres.
Prashant Puri, Director, Health Line Clinic, Jammu, Dr B S Sandhu, Director Sandhu Hospital and Rajinder, Director Padotra Clinic, Kathua, were also present on the occasion.
