Former MLC, others booked for anti national activities

KISHTWAR, July 20: Police booked a former Member Legislative Council (MLC) of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and others for allegedly indulging in anti national activities.
As per police sources, yesterday during protest against creation of Village Defence Committees (VDCs), former MLC Firdous Tak allegedly gave hatred speech and tried to create animosity among the communities. Tak along with others also indulged in anti national activities during the protest.
Taking action against the former MLC and others, a case under FIR Number 163/19 under section 153-A and 120-B has been registered at Kishtwar Police Station and investigation started.
When contacted, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kishtwar Shakti K Pathak confirmed about the registration of FIR against former MLC Firdous Tak and others for indulging in anti national activities.
