BHADERWAH, Aug 23: All J&K Non-Gazetted Forest Officers Association unit  Bhaderwah has demanded removal of pay anomalies, conducting DPC of Foresters and enhancement of 135 more posts of Grade-II Range Officers.
A large number of employees of the Forest Division, Bhaderwah assembled in the office complex of  DFO Bhaderwah on Saturday and started protest demonstration. They were shouting slogans in favour of their demands which included removal of pay anomalies of forest guards / foresters, release of two and half day salary, release of risk allowance, regularization of daily wagers of  Forest Department and change of designation of helpers and forest guards.
The protest demonstration and strike was held under the chairmanship of  its  unit president Shafqat Malik. The protesting members projected their pending demands on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion Abdul Hafeez Dar, vice president of the Association projected the demands of removal of pay anomaly, clearance of pending SRO-43 cases and  early conduct of DPC of Foresters. Dar  also projected the demand of regularization of daily wagers, changing of designation of helpers  and enhancement of 135 more posts of Range Officers Grade-II.
“Our all long pending demands are genuine and we have apprised authorities about them time and again. However, our pleas have fallen flat on deaf ears,” said all protesters.  Association members also submitted a charter of demands to DFO Bhaderwah T B Singh who assured the protesting employees  that all their demands would be forwarded to CF, Chenab Circle.
Sarfraz Ahmed, Aftab Ahmed, Mushtaq Ahmed and Gulam Mohidin also addressed the gathering.
