JAMMU, Dec 16: A footwear shop was partially damaged in fire near Nirdosh Chowk area of Akhnoor.
As per police sources, fire broke out in footwear shop owned by Pawan Gupta near Nirdosh Chowk area of Akhnoor probably due to short circuit.
On getting information, a team from Police Station Akhnoor rushed to the spot and informed the Department of Fire and Emergency Services.
Fire fighter along with a tender rushed to the spot and doused the flames.
No injury or casualty has been reported in the incident, while the exact loss could not be ascertained yet.
Akhnoor Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
