JAMMU, Nov 14: The Cluster University of Jammu today postponed the Under-Graduate Examinations of Semester-I, III and V.
A handout from the office of Controller of Examinations stated that earlier these exams were scheduled to be held on November 18, 2019 but now these will commence from November 25, 2019.
The handout further stated that the revised date sheet has also been uploaded on the university website clujammu.in and is also available in the constituent colleges of the varsity.
Earlier, ABVP led by its Jammu Mahanagar Secretary, Parteek Raina had staged protest demonstration outside the office of Controller of Examinations of Cluster University of Jammu demanding postponement of undergraduate exams.
The protesters had alleged that semester system has failed in Jammu as all the norms are not being implemented properly by the colleges.
They also said that university is not following any academic calendar and there no participation of student in the decision making processes of the varsity.
