JAMMU, July 11: A Follower of Jammu and Kashmir Police died due to electric shock at his residence in Kheriyan area near Camp Gole Gujaral, police sources said.
The deceased was identified as Ashwani Kumar, son of Girdhari Lal, a resident of Kheriyan near Camp Gole Gujaral. He was posted with IRP 11th Battalion at District Anantnag. After conducting post-mortem, the body of the deceased was handed over to family members for last rites.
Pouni Chak Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
