Five injured in road accidents

JAMMU, Aug 1: Five persons were injured today in two separate road accidents in city outskirts.
According to a police official, a load carrier (auto) carrying some people turned turtle on road in Dansal area of Jhajjar Kotli. In the mishap, three persons were injured and they were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for medical treatment.
“The injured were identified as Janu Devi (40) wife of Doddi, resident of Ratnal (Bishnah), Pyari Devi (57) wife of Lal Chand, resident of Bishnah and Nazeer Ahmed son of Meer Baksh, resident of Dansal,” he said, adding, Jhajjar Kotli police had taken cognizance of the matter.
Meanwhile, two persons were injured today when a bike on which they were travelling, got slipped near Dhangri Bridge in Khour area. The injured persons, namely Kamal Kumar (33) son of Tara Chand and Garu Ram, son of Babu Ram, both residents of Bardoh, were shifted to GMCH Jammu for treatment. Khour police had taken cognizance of the matter.
