Srinagar, Sept 10: A section of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) today went up in flames resulting in a total shutdown of internet service in several Srinagar areas.
The officials said that fire was reported at a section of BSNL office due to major wires were damaged. However, he maintained that the technical staff has been pressed into service to ensure the early restoration of the facility.
While the fire was controlled immediately, no loss of life and property was reported. However, the officials said that the wires that sustained damages are being rectified.
