RAJOURI, Nov 23: The police today registered a case against the persons involved in distribution of relief material in the premises of Govt Higher Secondary School, Rajouri on Saturday.
Taking cognizance of the matter District Election authorities Rajouri directed the Police to register a case against the people responsible for conducting violation of Model Code of conduct. Some Gaziabad based people connected with an NGO were distributing relief material in the premises of Govt School during the school hours without the prior permission from DEO Rajouri.
After coming to know about the matter, the DEO deputed RO Yogesh Kumar Kesar to the site who asked the SHO to book the persons involved. Accordingly the SHO registered a case FIR No. 609/2014 against the accused persons. The relief material was also seized.
