SAMBA, Apr 1: Police today registered an FIR against two persons including one has foreign travel history and other a preacher (Moulvi) who had provided shelter him in Mosque.
Acting on specific information received from reliable source that a foreign traveller had took shelter in a Mosque at Chak Doulat, police team of P/S Ramgarh headed by SHO Ramgarh conducted a raid and apprehended the preacher of Mosque along with foreign traveller who has hidden his travel history and took shelter at Mosque.
The accused Moulvi has been identified as Sarfarar Ahmed Qadri S/o Mohd Sharif R/o Surankote, Poonch (A/p Moulvi in Mosque at Chak Doltan) and the foreign traveller identified as Qurratulain Siddiqui S/o Saleen Uddin Siddiqui R/O Staion Road, Lal Kothi, Maindaho Hamirpur, Lucknow, UP.
A case FIR No. 26/2020 US 269 IPC got registered at P/S Ramgarh and further investigation started.
