JAMMU, May 27: In view of the commencing of Ramzan month tomorrow, a special squad of Directorate of FCS & CA Jammu conducted checking of chicken/mutton shops in Jammu and booked defaulters, who had not displayed the rate list.
The team, headed by Joginder Singh, Assistant Director Enforcement FCS&CA, Jammu comprising of Area Inspectors Naresh Kumar, Raman Kumar, Vishwa Mittar, checked 75 chicken/mutton shops and Dhabas in the areas viz Ware House, B C Road, Bus Stand, Rehari Chungi, New Plot and Janipur. Thirteen defaulters were booked for not displaying rate list of chicken/ mutton and using domestic gas cylinders for the commercial purposes. A fine of Rs 10500/- was realized on spot from the defaulters.
All the traders were directed to display rate list at their respective shops and avoid using domestic gas cylinders for commercial purposes.
