Fill sanctioned posts to ward off unemployment: Bali Bhagat

JAMMU, July 5: Bali Bhagat, former Minister and senior BJP leader today urged the Government in J&K UT to duly address the issue of unemployment by initiating the recruitment process for all the sanctioned posts by advertising the same as soon as possible.
In a statement issued here, senior BJP functionary said that without going into further intricacies and making big plans it is advisable for the Government to recruit the jobless youth for the posts already sanctioned by the Government. He said that by lingering the same problem of joblessness will take a gigantic shape thus leaving low or no chance for overcoming the same.
He said that Government should act prudently in the matter as avail the chance of filling the vacant posts which have been duly sanctioned to lessen the burden and also fulfil the promises made with the people by the Central dispensation to employee good number of youths in Government jobs.
Taking up another important issue of regularization of workers which the Union Territory is facing since long, Bali Bhagat said that J&K Administration should not waste even a jiffy in regularizing those employees who have become eligible for the same after rendering more than stipulated term of service in various Government departments after getting this opportunity under various SROs. He said that the demand of regularization is the most genuine one and by doing the same the Government will do fair justice with the concerned employees awaiting regularization. “Any delay on this count can be compared to ‘justice delayed is justice denied’ and therefore those sitting at helm should mull henceforth in this matter and act wisely to make people know that for J&K Government welfare of the people is prime and whatever steps it take is in the interest of the people.
He said that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has also promised to address the issue of unemployment in J&K on priority therefore through such initiatives the dream of PM can be realized with no extra effort or big deals.
