Baru inspects various ongoing development works in Ward-41

JAMMU, July 5: Senior BJP leader and JMC Councilor, Sanjay Kumar Baru today conducted a tour of his ward along with BJP ward president, Ashok Wazir and JMC officials. During the tour, he inspected various ongoing development works and also listened to the problems being faced by local residents of Colonel’s Colony, Surya Vihar, Anand Nagar and adjoining areas.
After listening the problems patiently and while addressing the gathering Sanjay Baru said that people’s participation especially of senior citizens is must for the grass root level development in true sense.
He said under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Mod, development works are witnessed in full swing after 73rd and 74th amendment in JK(UT).
Baru further said that the tendering process of a major project in the Ward worth Rs 4.50 crore of deep drain from Bohri Chowk to main Santra Morh Nallah via KC Hazuri Bagh is complete in all respects and construction work will be started within one month.
Prominent people of the Ward highly appreciated the efforts of Sanjay Baru, the local councilor for upgradation of electricity infrastructure including installation of 12 new transformers in the Ward which has improved regular electricity supply where most of the areas are facing electricity problems and also paid their gratitude for all development works including construction of nearly 80 percent lanes and drains in last 2 years despite this pandemic.
