JTC, SKF dharna enters 250th day

JAMMU, July 5: The protest sit-in held by Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) entered 250th day today at Jagti township Nagrota.
The protest was held under the leadership of Shadi Lal Pandita, president JTC and SKF. While addressing, he said though the activists of the two organizations are protesting for over last nine months but the demands have not been met till date.
He demanded immediate rehabilitation of the displaced Pandits in Valley in three separate townships and hike in cash relief from Rs 13000 to Rs 25,000 per family per month with a job package to the community youth, compensation for 31 year long losses, on spot recruitment of KP youth in police and para military forces, grant of minority status to KPs and Sikhs and reservation of five seats in Assembly and two each in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.
