JAMMU, Apr 29: The sleuths of Fire and Emergency Services Department today prevented major damage to a house in Panjthirthi area of the old city by timely dousing the fire.
As per the reports, fire broke out in a house in Panjthirthi area this evening due to unknown reasons and on getting information about the incident two fire tenders from City Fire Station and one from Gandhi Nagar Fire Station were pressed into service to douse the flames.
It was due to swift action of the firemen under the close supervision of DFO Tej Krishan Raina that fire was doused timely.
