JAMMU, June 6: The Financial Commissioner, Revenue has constituted a high level committee to go into the complaints of fake and frivolous mutations of `No Man’s land’ situation at village Paristan in Uri area of Baramulla district.
The committee will be headed by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Baramulla as Chairman and will comprise Assistant Commissioner (Revenue), Baramulla, Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Tehsildar and Naib Tehsildar, Uri as members.
The inquiry was ordered on the basis of the Director General of Police writing to the SSP Crime Branch the fake mutations of land on the basis of written complaint lodged by Ajaz Ahmad and others.
The Financial Commissioner Revenue has asked the committee to furnish detailed report within a period of one month positively.
