Jammu, Dec 5: Judicial Officers of Jammu, Udhampur, Samba and Reasi and officers of Registry accorded an affectionate adieu to Chief Justice Gita Mittal, on her demitting the office at a farewell function organized in the presence of Justice Rajesh Bindal, Justice D.S. Thakur, Justice Tashi Rabstan, Justice Sanjeev Kumar, Justice Sindhu Sharma, Justice Rajnesh Oswal, Justice Vinod Chatterji Koul, Justice Sanjay Dhar, Justice Puneet Gupta and Justice Javed Iqbal Wani.
The farewell was hosted at Hotel Radisson Blu.
Sanjeev Gupta, Principal District & Sessions Judge, Jammu presented the welcome address. He highlighted her contribution in the field of law and justice delivery system.
Chief Justice Gita Mittal expressed gratitude to the Judicial Officers present on the occasion for hosting an impressive farewell event in her honour.
Y.P. Bourney, Special Judge, Anti-Corruption presented vote of thanks expressing gratitude to all the distinguished guests and Judicial Officers in the event.
Bala Jyoti, Member, Special Tribunal Jammu conducted the proceedings at the event.
