DODA, Sept 15: A family escaped unhurt after a tipper fell on their house here today.
As per police sources a tipper bearing registration number JK02Q-7825 fell on the house of a man namely Bharat Bushan, son of Sher Chand at Doda. The family inside the house had miraculous escape. However, the house suffered damages.
Soon after the incident, the family members assembled on the road and blocked the vehicular movement. They demanded compensation for the losses they suffered in the incident.
On getting information, police team led by DySP Jaswant Singh along with SHO Doda Inspector Arun Sharma rushed to the spot and pacified the protesting family.
Later, the family members dispersed and vehicular movement was restored on the road.
However, Doda Police has also taken cognizance in this regard.
