UDHAMPUR, May 16:  A large number of Panthers Party activist along with families of Latti bus accident victims held protest demonstration under the leadership of Balwant Singh Mankotia, president Jammu Kashmir National Panthers Party, opposite DC Office Udhampur.
They also block Dhar Road for two hours.
The Panthers Party activists assembled at Slathia Chowk Udhampur and proceeded towards DC Office in the form of a procession. Carrying banners and raising slogans, they were demanding adequate ex-gratia to the next of the kin of the deceased in the accident.
While addressing the gathering, Mankotia said that State Government had not sanctioned even a single penny in favour of Latti accident victim instead, who were given only five thousand to injured and ten thousand to families of dead person out of Red Cross.  Mankotia demanded Rs 10 lakh to the family members of dead persons and Rs two lakh to injured persons.
