FAIVM seeks relief measures for traders

JAMMU, Aug 22: Federation of All India Vyapar Mandal (FAIVM) has demanded the Government of J&K to take some urgent measures to provide relief to business sector.
In a written plea to Additional Secretary Finance, J&K, Vishal Sharma, Sanjay Bansal, president of FAIVM J&K demanded that the business sector be provided relief in water & electricity bills, bank interest of CC and term loan, interest in TDS, road taxes of commercial & private vehicles and in interest of income tax return from July for taxable returns.
He also demanded abolishing toll plaza for price control, relief from Inspector Raj and abolishing all types of different duties and taxes imposed on business establishments. He further sought relief in provident fund and in rent (whether Government or private) of the establishments.
Bansal urged the Government to consider the demands of the Vyapar Mandal positively and taken decision without any delay so that businesses could flourish in this badly militancy-affected part of our nation.
