Faculty, PG students bring honour to IGGDC Jammu

JAMMU, Feb 8: The Faculty and Postgraduate students of Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Indira Gandhi Government Dental College (IGGDC) Jammu attended 1st National Conference of Aeshthetic Dentistry Association of India at Manglore, Karnatka.
The Faculty and PG scholars presented the scientific research studies and posters conducted in the PG Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics under the guidance of Professor and Head (Dr) Azhar Malik, which were chaired by eminent personalities in the presence of DCI president Dr Dibyendu Mazumdar and Dr Mithra N Hegde (president ADAI).
The research studies presented were awarded as Best Paper to Dr Rudra Koul (Lecturer) in Delegate category and Dr Saima Hamid (2nd Position), Dr Sadiya Anayat (2nd Position), Dr Jerin Scaria (1st Position) and Dr Saniya Amin (3rd Position) in Post Graduate student category.
Dr Ashish Chowdhary (Registrar), Dr Tahira Hamid and Dr Insha Shafi (PG scholars) also presented their research papers. The other faculty members comprising Dr Ajay Gupta (Associate Professor), Dr Rachna Dhani (Assistant Professor), Dr Shamim (Assistant Professor), Dr Ravinder Bhagat (Lecturer), Dr Sukhir Kour (Registrar) and Dr Kanchan Hagat (D/S) were actively involved in these academics and research projects under the guidance of Prof (Dr) Azhar Malik (HoD) and Prof (Dr) Rakesh K Gupta, Principal IGGDC Jammu.
