THAPKOUR (HP), July 3: Vaishno College of Engineering organized two- day faculty development programme under TEQIP-III in collaboration with Himachal Pradesh Technical University.
Around 100 faculty members from VGC and other colleges participated in this programme, the objectives of which was to update and upgrade the knowledge of the faculty, so that they can teach their students more effectively.
College Managing Directors Varun Gupta & Rahul Pathania, Director Lt Col. A K Khajuria inaugurated the programme. The faculty development programs were customized for each stream, and the resource persons were provided with special seminars and workshops. The highly experienced resource person of the respective fields like Researchers and Educationalist presented topics on Mathematics, Teaching Methodology, Time Management etc presided over the program and shared their valuable experiences and thoughts with staff.
Varun Gupta, MD of VGC, distributed the certificates to all participants at the valedictory function.
At the end, Lt Col A K Khajuria, Director of Vaishno College of Engineering, presented vote of thanks.
