JAMMU, July 3: National Conference (NC) Women Wing State vice president, Bimla Luthra, today distributed LPG stoves at village Qazian in RS Pura.
On the occasion, Bimla Luthra said the price rise and erratic power as well as drinking water supply has hit the housewives most. Gas cylinders in complete form were distributed to the BPL and other deserving families.
She said that this meager help would help the poor and needy people to improve their life-style as this is requirement of every poor family. She said National Conference has all long played a frontal role in providing vistas of opportunities to women in the field of education and economic emancipation, besides their political empowerment.
Those who were present on the occasion included Satwant Kour, Jyoti Devi, Rani Devi, Veena, Tilki, Varshna Devi, Raj Rani and others.
