Expose nefarious designs of power hungry parties: Bhalla to people

JAMMU, Nov 16: Minister for Housing, Culture and Horticulture and Congress party candidate from Gandhi Nagar constituency Raman Bhalla today urged the electorate not to vote for parties which were trying to polarise the constituency for their vote bank politics.
Minister stated this while addressing public meetings in Ajeet Nagar, Upper Gadigarh, Bhatindi Nallah, Barjala, Khwaska, Saddar Bazaar at Satwari, Friends Colony at Trkiuta Nagar and Green Belt Park areas of Gandhi Nagar constituency here today.
“Exploitative forces are trying hard to divide people by spreading misinformation about the achievements of Congress-led Government”, Minister said, adding that the wise people of the Gandhi Nagar constituency will not allow such forces to succeed as there is a groundswell to revive that era of progress and development which Congress-led Government demonstrated during its regime.
Without naming any political party, Mr Bhalla stated that some political parties and their leaders were using every possible method and means to divide the people to gain electoral victories.
He urged the residents of Gandhi Nagar constituency to expose the nefarious designs of power hungry parties on the day of poll by voting in favour of Congress.
“I would like to inform the people that concerted attempts are being made to derail the process of progress and development in this constituency by way of polarisation and division”, Mr Bhalla added.
Urging the people to give decisive mandate to Congress to usher in an era of progress and prosperity, Bhalla said the party successfully gave a new paradigm of governance and fast-track development to Jammu and Kashmir, based on equity and justice to all regions and sections.
He promised the people that if voted to power Congress would convert the Gandhi Nagar into model constituency of the state.
