JAMMU, Nov 21: The ninth meeting of the Executive Council of the Central University of Jammu was held today under the chairmanship of Incharge Vice Chancellor, Prof Devanand.
The meeting was attended by Wajahat Habibullah, former Chairman, National Commission for Minorities, Dr Mahmood-ur-Rahman, former Vice Chancellor, Aligarh Muslim University Sheikh Mushtaq Ahmed, Secretary to Government, Higher Education Department, J&K Government and Dr P C Upadhayay, former Pro-Vice Chancellor, Guru Ghasidas University, Chhatisgarh.
The Vice Chancellor briefed the members about various academic and administrative initiatives taken by the University during the financial year 2013-14. Among other agenda items, the Executive Council, interalia, deliberated upon and approved the Annual Report, Annual Accounts along with Separate Audit Report (SAR) of the University for the year 2013-2014 for submission to the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, New Delhi.
